Client Testimonials
Zulkifli Azmi

"I brought in an old Seiko that had been running fast for years. Razlan took it apart, showed me the timegrapher reading before and after, and explained what he had adjusted. The rate is now within a few seconds a day, which is all I needed. What I appreciated was that he did not try to sell me a full service I didn't ask for."

"Took a 1970s Omega in for a dial inspection. They photographed it thoroughly, pointed out a small hairline on one of the indices that I hadn't noticed, and gave me a straight answer about whether it was worth worrying about. The report they sent was detailed enough to keep for reference. It took about a week, which was a little longer than expected, but the communication was clear throughout."

"The crown on my husband's watch had been getting stiff for months. Pelangi replaced it and renewed all the gaskets. They called me when they found the original thread had some wear and asked before proceeding with the fix — I had not expected that level of care. The watch feels as it should now and the water-resistance test gave me peace of mind."

"I was nervous about handing over my grandfather's watch to anyone. Faridah took the time to explain what the dial inspection would involve before I even agreed to leave it. The report came with photographs that showed every part of the dial clearly. I now know exactly what state it is in, and more importantly, that it was handled with respect."

"Had a pusher replaced on an older chronograph. They were clear from the start that finding a close match would take a few extra days. The result is good — visually it sits well and functions cleanly. The pricing was exactly as quoted. I'd return."

"The regulation service was straightforward and professionally handled. They printed the timegrapher data for me — something I hadn't seen before — which showed the improvement position by position. The watch was back in about nine working days. I'll be returning with another piece shortly."

Service Stories
A closer look at three recent services and how they were handled.
Challenge
An owner brought in a vintage dress watch running consistently at +35 seconds per day. The movement was otherwise clean — no overhaul was needed — but the rate was making the watch difficult to rely on for daily wear.
Approach
Full timegrapher analysis across six positions identified a predictable pattern, suggesting a regulator adjustment would be sufficient. The adjustment was made in stages, with bench observation between each step to confirm the change had settled.
Outcome
Rate brought to +4 seconds per day average across positions. Owner received before and after timegrapher printouts. Total service time: 8 working days, including the observation period.
"Exactly what I needed — no more, no less."
Challenge
A collector sought advice on a 1960s dial showing tropical colouration. He had been told by another shop to have it restored. He wanted a second assessment before making any decision.
Approach
Full dial inspection with macro photography. The team assessed the colouration as genuine tropical ageing rather than damage, explained the market significance of preserving it, and documented the condition in writing with photographs.
Outcome
No work carried out — the recommendation was to leave the dial untouched. Owner left with a comprehensive photographic record. Dial is preserved in original condition.
"They told me not to do anything. That honesty was worth the trip alone."
Challenge
A sports chronograph had two pushers that had become increasingly unreliable — one returning slowly, one occasionally sticking. The crown was also loose in the winding position.
Approach
Case assessment confirmed all three needed replacement. Parts were sourced to match the original specification as closely as possible. Owner was contacted before any work began to confirm approval and discuss the sourced parts.
Outcome
Both pushers and crown replaced. Gaskets renewed throughout. Basic water-resistance test passed. Total time: 9 working days including part sourcing. Watch returned with written record and before/after photographs.
"Functions as it should. Pricing was exactly as quoted."
